Llewellyn Randolph Kirton as he was born began singing in\u00a0St.\u00a0Cyprians\u00a0choir\u00a0as\u00a0a kid.\u00a0Despite his parents aversion to secular music he continued to want to sing outside of church from age 12 \u2013 even when it meant to sneak out of the house to do it.<\/p>\n<p>He went from the\u00a0Starlighters,\u00a0Draytons\u00a03 (which after\u00a0Kirton\u00a0left became known as the\u00a0Draytons\u00a02), recording with Barbados\u2019 most popular r \u2019n b outfit Blue Rhythm Combo, drumming with Sam &amp; Dave to a solo career.
